The Pokémon Trading Card Game Sword and Shield expansion consists of several different expansion sets, including the following:

  1. Sword and Shield Base Set: This expansion set introduces over 200 new Pokémon cards to the game, including many never-before-seen Pokémon from the Galar region. The set also introduces new gameplay mechanics, such as the introduction of "Dynamax" and "Gigantamax" forms for certain Pokémon.

  2. Sword and Shield Rebel Clash: This expansion set introduces over 100 new Pokémon cards to the game, including powerful Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX cards. The set also introduces new gameplay mechanics, such as the ability to evolve Pokémon during play and the introduction of new "Quick Shots" that allow players to draw extra cards from their deck.

  3. Sword and Shield Darkness Ablaze: This expansion set introduces over 180 new Pokémon cards to the game, including many powerful Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX cards. The set also introduces new gameplay mechanics, such as the introduction of "Tag Team" Pokémon cards that feature multiple Pokémon on a single card.

  4. Sword and Shield Shining Fates: This expansion set introduces over 70 new Pokémon cards to the game, including rare "Shiny" Pokémon and powerful Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX cards. The set also introduces new gameplay mechanics, such as the introduction of "Special Energy" cards that provide unique benefits in battle.

The Pokémon Trading Card Game has been around for over 25 years, and during that time, many rare and valuable cards have been released. Here is a list of the top 10 most valuable Pokémon cards: Pikachu Illustrator: This card was awarded to winners of a Pokémon art contest in 1998, and only six are known to exist. As a result, the Pikachu Illustrator is one of the most valuable Pokémon cards in the world, with some examples selling for over $100,000.
